Ngo Gia Tu Primary School wins 1st prize in regional qualifying round of national contest

The central region and highlands qualifying round of a national contest for primary school pupils recently took place at Da Nang's Ngo Gia Tu Primary School.

Co-organised by the Thieu Nien Tien Phong (Young Pioneers) Newspaper and the Duc Viet Food Company, the event required contestants to show their intelligence and skills.   Participating teams were from 8 primary schools in Da Nang, Hue City, and provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Khanh Hoa.

This is 4th time that the national contest has been held in primary schools, and this year there were 240 participating.

In the qualifying round, the Ngo Gia Tu Primary School won 1st prize and will advance to the final round of the national contest which will be held on Friday in Ha Noi.  In addition, Quang Nam Province’s Nam Phuoc 3 Primary School finished second, whilst Da Nang’s Le Quang Sung Primary School and Hue City’s Ngu Binh Primary School came joint third.
