A meeting took place in Da Nang on Wednesday morning to review the city’s implementation of the High-quality Human Resources Development Project (Project No 922) over the 1998 - 2014 period.

During the review period, Da Nang has seen positive improvements in both the quality and quantity of local government employees.  They have made significant contributions to the city’s socio-economic development.

1,043 graduates from domestic and overseas public educational institutes have so far been employed at the city-based agencies and departments.  806 of them are Bachelor degree graduates, 224 have Masters' degrees, and 13 have Doctorates.  297 of them have been admitted to the Party, and 206 have been appointed as leaders or managers at their places of work.

Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Students is considered as a cradle of training for the city’s high-quality human resources

Since 2004 a total of 608 people, comprising 253 men and 355 women, have participated in Project No 922.  They have studied at overseas educational institutes which are on the list of the world’s top 200 best universities ranked by the UK Time Higher Education Supplement.  At present, 250 graduates are working at the city-based agencies and departments.
