Results of 2014 high school graduation exams announced

On Monday afternoon, the Da Nang Department of Education and Training announced the results of the 2014 high school graduation exams for full-time and continuing-education students in the city.

Out of a total of 10,710 full-time students, 10,554 passed making the graduation rate 98.54%.  Amongst them, 353 students recorded very good performances, whilst 1,715 were good.  Nguyen Thi Minh Tam and Le Thi Phuong Thanh from the city’s Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Students received the highest marks this year, both with a total of 39 marks out of 40.

Five of the city’s senior high schools achieved 100% pass rates.  These were the Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Students, and the Phan Chau Trinh, Hoa Vang, Phan Thanh Tai, and Cam Le senior high schools.

Meanwhile, 788 out of 875 continuing-education students passed the exams, which is a 90.05% graduation rate.  Three of these graduates achieved very good results, whilst another 23 were graded as good.
