A signing ceremony took place at Da Nang’s Duy Tan University (DTU) on Wednesday morning confirming an agreement to deliver degree programmes from the US’s Upper Iowa University (UIU) at the DTU.

Starting from next year the 2 universities will offer 4-year training courses in English in business administration, financial and marketing management, information technology and communications, information systems, and graphic design.  Seventy percent of these training programmes will be taught by UIU lecturers, whilst the remainder will be delivered by foreign teachers from the DTU.  After completing a course, a trainee will receive a Bachelors’ degree from the UIU.

Founded in 1857, the UIU is a private higher education institution with its residential campus located in northeast Iowa in the US.
