Under the national programme ‘Transmission and Terrestrial Television Broadcasting Digitisation by 2020’, the switchover from analogue to digital terrestrial television in Da Nang will be completed by late in the first quarter of this year.

Da Nang Radio and Television (DRT) is now trialling the digital broadcasting of its DRT2 channel daily from 6am to 11pm.

The city’s branch of the Viet Nam Television Station is also piloting the digital broadcasting of its channels from 6am to 12pm.

Meanwhile, the digital television stations of VTV, VTC and AVG are digitally broadcasting their TV programmes around the clock.
