KOICA donates labs and practical rooms to city college
Last Friday, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) officially handed over 19 laboratories and practical rooms, valued at 3.1 million USD, to the Viet Nam-Korea Friendship Information Technology College. This was part of the South Korea-funded project to upgrade the college into a university.
In August 2012 approval was given by the South Korean government to grant non-refundable ODA capital of 6.2 million USD for upgrading the college between January 2013 and June 2016.

After over 2 years of implementation, many of the project’s tasks have already been completed. In particular, teaching equipment has now been installed in the laboratories and the practical rooms for IT and graphic and architectural design. Included are microprocessors, microcontrollers, telecommunication measurement equipment, and digital signal and optical information processors.
