On Tuesday afternoon, representatives from businesses across Da Nang discussed how to fully tap the benefits of mobile website designs in the context of the booming trend of online business.

The municipal Department of Industry and Trade reported that many activities for promoting e-commerce applications have been implemented over recent years.  In addition, numerous training courses on e-commerce applications have been provided for local businesses.  Thanks to these activities, Da Nang has secured 3^rd position in the Viet Nam e-business index for the 3 consecutive years from 2012 to 2014.

However, the number of domain names registered by local businesses is still low at only around 4,500.  Many local businesses have their own websites, but they have yet to create mobile versions or they possess low-quality ones.

Also at the event, information technology experts introduced the participants to e-commerce development on the basis of mobile applications.  This will allow local businesses to easily access new e-commerce solutions and technologies through mobile networks.
