The Honda Young Engineer and Scientist’s Award (Y-E-S Award) was launched on May 4 at eight universities across Viet Nam.

The programme was organised by Honda Viet Nam (HVN) in association with the Honda Foundation and the National Institute for Science and Technology Policy and Strategy Studies (NISTPASS).

Honda’s eight affiliated universities are the Ha Noi University of Science and Technology; University of Engineering and Technology and University of Science at Viet Nam National University, Ha Noi; University of Science at Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; Da Nang University of Technology; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; Ha Noi University of Transport and Communications; and Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport.

The awards will be granted to students who excel in science and technology with active participation in extra-curricular activities.

Online registration for the programme will be open through July 1.

The Honda Y-E-S Award programme was started in 2006 to foster future leaders of science and technology as part of the Honda Foundation’s 30^th anniversary project.
