A technology platform will open its doors on May 15 in Ha Noi, connecting start-up entrepreneurs, innovators and investors in the field.

Techfest 2015 will take place from May 15-17.

Techfest 2015 has been co-organised by the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation Development (NATEC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Viet Nam Digital Communication Association (VDCA) and the Viet Nam National University - Ha Noi.

The three-day event is expected to draw more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, 60 start-up businesses, 50 domestic and international investors and a number of firms and organisations operating in the field.

It presents opportunities for stakeholders to share experience in starting businesses and technology trends in 2015.

A presentation contest called Start-up Discovery featuring 10 start-up firms will also take place.

The groups will introduce their products and business plans to draw international investors and potentially secure seats at start-up festivals around the world.
