The 2015 Viet Nam ICT summit organised by the Viet Nam Software Association (VINASA) will discuss the application of ICT in managing key sectors and social services.

Participants will discuss ICT application to enhance the capacity of the healthcare sector; improve human resources, public management and services; and develop smart transport systems and cities.

A number of meetings will also be organised during the event to connect businesses, investors and organisations in the sector.

In 2014, VINASA in collaboration with the Asian-Oceania Computing Industry Organisation held the biggest annual event for the regional software and ICT industry themed “ICT: The new paradigm in socio-economic development and agricultural restructuring”.

The event, attracting about 700 domestic and international participants, helped speed up the development of the Vietnamese ICT industry as well as the country's economy and society.

The annual summit, first launched in 2011, has made significant contributions to fostering ICT application in the nation’s modernisation.
