Last Saturday, the University of Da Nang (UD) conferred 9 Doctorates and 605 Master’s degrees on graduates from the 1^st stage of this year.

Of the Master’s degree holders, 175 of them completed their courses at the University of Technology, 255 at the University of Economics, 110 at the University of Education, and 65 at the College of Foreign Languages.  Business Administration, Banking and Finance, and the English language faculties saw the highest number of graduates.

The number of graduates whose master’s and doctoral thesis defenses were on schedule accounted for about 75% of the total.

Also at the event, 11 Master’s degree holders were honoured for their excellent academic results.

The day before, the city’s Duy Tan University had conferred 39 Master’s degrees on graduates from the faculties of Computer Science, Business Administration and Accounting.  In addition, a total of nearly 1,500 Bachelor's degrees were awarded to graduates at university and college levels in the 2014 - 2015 academic year.
