Nearly 31,000 pupils start high school graduation exams

Like other pupils nationwide, nearly 31,000 candidates from Da Nang and Quang Nam Province will be taking the 2015 national senior high school graduation exams between 1 and 4 July.  There are tests in mathematics, foreign languages, literature, physics, geography, chemistry, history and biology. 

Of these subjects, mathematics, literature, history and geography are tested by the constructed-response format, whilst physics, chemistry and biology are multiple-choice.  The test in foreign languages comprises written and multiple-choice parts.

This morning the candidates started their exams with the 3-hour mathematics test, and they took the 1.5-hour test in foreign languages this afternoon.

On Tuesday, 97.1% of the total examinees registered for the exams gathered at local locations allocated by the city’s education and training sector in order to be introduced to the regulations about the exams and adjust their personal information in their registration forms if needed.
