The University of Da Nang on Wednesday reviewed its performance over the past 5 years and identified its main tasks for the 2015-2020 period.

At the event, 15 groups and 29 individuals were honoured for their remarkable achievements in patriotic emulation movements.  Amongst the honourees, 2 groups and 6 individuals were proposed for Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training in recognition of their outstanding achievements over the past 5 years.

Between 2010 and 2015, the university has effectively implemented local patriotic emulation movements launched by the Vietnamese Party, State and Ministries, as well as by local relevant departments and authorities. 

As a result, 48% of the university’s departments received the title of ‘Excellent Labour Unit’ every year, over 90% of its staff members received ‘Good Labour Person’ awards, whilst over 8% and over 0.72% received ‘Emulation Combatant’ titles at city-level and ministerial-level respectively.

In the 2015-2020 period, the university will strive to reach its target of receiving a Second-Class Independence Medal from the State President.
