Last Saturday, 94 pupils of 32 teams from robotics clubs in over 10 primary schools across Da Nang took part in the city’s Robothon Competition.  As a result, 2 teams from Tran Cao Van Primary School shared 1st place.

Co-organised by the municipal Department of Education and Training and the DTT-EDUSPEC Joint-Venture, this event aimed to create a useful playground for local school pupils who show a keen interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects, and robothon as a whole.

The contest's winners will represent Da Nang and compete at the Digital Campus International Robothon 2015 (DCIR), which will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on 29 November 2015.

Under the theme of ‘EcoWatch’, this year’s DCIR simulates the current widespread deforestation which results in numerous serious negative affects to the globe.
