A workshop on information technology (IT), which had ‘Agile Tour Viet Nam 2015’ as its theme, recently took place in Da Nang.  The event was jointly organised by the Viet Nam-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education, the Agile Viet Nam Community, and the city-based SmartDev Viet Nam Company.

The event, the first of its kind to be held in the city, aimed to boost the development of the local IT sector.  It saw the participation of over 250 young IT engineers, programmers and people with a keen interest in computer sciences from across the city.

This year’s workshop featured presentations, training sessions, and discussions which were conducted by over 20 well-known IT speakers and experts, along with software management organisations from such countries as Viet Nam, the USA, the UK, the Netherlands and Singapore.  Exchange sessions were also held during the event to give participants the opportunity to share their mutual experiences.

Agile Tour Viet Nam is the country’s biggest intensive workshop on flexible software development.  This large-scale international event is held annually to promote the development of Agile software methodologies in Viet Nam.
