On Monday, 32 senior high school pupils from Da Nang received four-year scholarships to study at Soshi Education Group’s International Pacific University in Japan.  A full scholarship is worth over 150 million VND per year.

Amongst the recipients, Do Kieu Thanh Hien from the Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Students won a full scholarship, another 10 students each got a half tuition fee scholarship, whilst the remaining 21 were each given a scholarship for 30% tuition fee exemption. 

The scholarship recipients are required to average at least 6.5 in their final academic results.  In addition, they have to participate in a 90-minute test comprising quizzes on Mathematics and English or Japanese, along with an essay written in English, Japanese or Vietnamese.
