Da Nang hosts Asian conference on intelligent information
The 8th Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems (ACIIDS) opened in Da Nang on Monday.

Organised by the Viet Nam-Korea Friendship Information Technology College and Poland’s Wroclaw University, the event saw the participation of around 200 experts from 36 countries worldwide.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong said the annual workshop creates an excellent opportunity for scientific policymakers and managers to share their expertise on the latest technology.
The event will run until March 16 with more than 400 reports to be presented, focusing on artificial intelligence, intelligent multi-element systems, parallel computing, software, and e-commerce systems.
The Vietnamese Government is implementing an action programme to boost the application of information technology for sustainable development and international integration, Hong said.
The ACIIDS 2016 is a practical forum for local scientists and managers to gain access to cutting-edge technology and apply it to the country, he added.
