The 3^rd Olympiad of Talent in English for the central region and highlands came to an end in Da Nang yesterday.

The event attracted 103 contestants, all pupils from central regional localities who are in grades 5, 9 and 11, and they were divided into 16 teams.  They competed in 3 rounds namely ‘What is the topic?’, ‘Are you a good communicator?’, and ‘Who is the best orator?’.   

In the end, a total of 10 first, 21 second, 31 third, and 41 consolation prizes were awarded.

According to the judging board, this year’s contestants demonstrated a high level of proficiency in the English language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  Most notably, they successfully showed confidence, flexibility and creativity in each round of the contest.
