The Saigon Posts and Telecommunications Service Joint-Stock Corporation (SPT) has begun to offer free public wifi in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province's.Vung Tau City.

Free S-wifi service will be available at the hydrofoil pier to the Bai Truoc beach. It will serve more than 1,000 users a day.

The provincial People's Committee has ordered the provincial Department of Information and Communications to cooperate with SPT to implement the second phase of the wifi project by continuing to install more S-wifi transceivers at Ba Ria and Le Loi hospitals, the Bai Sau area, and market and cable car tourist areas.

SPT has installed a free wifi system in 13 cities and provinces, including a free large-scale public wifi in Da Nang.
