On Tuesday, the Da Nang Department of Education and Training issued a number of general rules, plans and timetables which will be applied to all levels of the city's schools over the 2016 - 2017 academic year.  This is a big difference against previous years when each level of local schools had its own plan and timetable. 

These newly-issued plans will focus on education programmes from pre-schools to senior high schools, and for centres of continuing education.  Some others involve the vocational examinations, the contests for Year 9 and 12 excellent pupils, and the excellent homeroom teacher competitions. 

Drafts about enrolment regulations for primary, junior and senior high schools, and for the Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Pupils, for next academic year were also announced.
