Over the past 3 decades, the school has trained many generations of senior high school pupils, many of whom have become key employees at local agencies and departments.

In addition, all of its pupils have successfully passed senior high school graduation and university entrance exams.  A total of 24 pupils have won medals at international and national Olympiads, whilst over 1,000 pupils have gained prizes at the National Contest for Excellent Students and municipal and regional contests.

In recognition of its remarkable achievements, the school has been given an excellent emulation flag from the Prime Minister, and received first, second, and third-class labour medals from the State President.

The school now has 5 Doctors, one PhD student, and 69 Masters.  In addition, all of its teachers have qualifications which meet or exceed the standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Addressing a celebratory event recently, municipal People’s Committee (PC) Vice Chairman Mien praised the school’s teachers and students for their significant achievements over the past 30 years.  He urged them to continue studying and following the late President Ho Chi Minh's moral example, and to become pioneers in the city in promoting teaching and learning activities.

The city leader stressed the need for the school to make innovations in its teaching methods to encourage pupils to uphold their spirit of self-study.  Also, the focus should be on increasing the quantity and quality of prizes at national and international contests.  In addition, heed should be paid to promoting physical training for pupils and helping them to enhance their foreign languages skills.

He remarked, “I hope the school will exert ever more effort to further its teaching activities in order to develop high-quality human resources for the city’s progress”.

To mark the event, the school was given an emulation flag from the municipal PC in recognition of its remarkable achievements over the past 3 decades.  In addition, 9 of the school’s teachers received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training in recognition of their outstanding teaching activities.
