Mr Quang is devoted to his teaching activities with the aim of helping his pupils more easily understand the country's magnanimous historical milestones.

In addition, he often introduces innovations to his teaching methods by incorporating useful references collected from hundreds of books, plus illustrations and interesting songs, into his lessons.  For example, his pupils were introduced to the memoirs of the late General Vo Nguyen Giap during their lesson about the country’s historic Dien Bien Phu victory.

During each semester, the devoted teacher spends at least one period answering any questions raised by his pupils about history.  He remarked, “Currently, school pupils find it easy to access a wide range of information channels, and they show a keen interest in learning about historical figures.  As a result, I have to access numerous news programmes in order to answer all the questions they raise”.

He underlines the need for all history teachers to provide their pupils with accurate information about the country’s issues of highest concern, including the recent developments in the East Sea, and the country’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.

Thanks to his great devotion to teaching, Mr Quang is loved by all his pupils, and they are always sending him letters to express their respect for their beloved teacher.

Over the past decade, Mr Quang has been responsible for training outstanding students for national and international contests, and many of them have won notable prizes.  Many of his former pupils are also now history teachers in local schools, and they inspire the younger generations to love history.
