The new institute will consist of 2 centres, one for invention research and the other for scientific information training. The former aims to bolster cooperation on technological applications and invention research, promote scientific information exchanges, and boost technology transfer activities. Meanwhile, the latter will be responsible for organising cooperation and training activities, offering training courses and promoting science publicity activities in the community.
Over the past several years, UD and UNS have jointly organised Master's degree courses in computer science, water management, business administration, and embedded systems. As part of the bilateral cooperation programmes involving the 2 universities, over 10 exchange sessions have been held each year for staff members and students from the 2 institutes.
