Various activities held within Meet Viet Nam programme

The 13th Meet Viet Nam programme features 13 international workshops and five training courses on science in Binh Dinh province’s Quy Nhon city from March 6-10.

Chairman of the Meet Viet Nam Association Tran Thanh Van said the scientific workshops and thematic courses focus on neutrino physics, quantum physics, nanophysics and cosmology alongside those on medicine, mathematics, and communication technology.

The workshops and courses bring together international scientists from around the world to Viet Nam to share their latest research results. About 1,700 foreign scientists scheduled to take part in this year’s events and meet with local students and young scientists.

An International Conference on Environmental Pollution, Restoration, and Management at the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) in Quy Nhon city was the opening event of the 13th Meet Viet Nam programme in 2017.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha chaired the conference and held a dialogue with foreign scientists on Viet Nam’s environmental issues and environmental protection strategies.
