The 2017 National Mathematics on Handheld Computers Contest for junior and senior pupils in the central region and highlands has concluded in Thua Thien-Hue Province’s Hue City.

This year’s event attracted 215 pupils from 9 central region and highland localities.  Amongst the contestants were 25 from Da Nang, 20 of whom won prizes - 3 first, 4 second, 6 third, and 7 consolation prizes.

The contestants competed in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, in both individual and team categories. 

In the individual category, they had to undergo a 90-minute-long test. 

In the team category, the contestants were divided into teams of 6, with 3 competing in mathematics, and the others in physics, chemistry, or biology.  These tests each lasted 10 minutes.
