Autodesk willing to help Da Nang towards a 'smart' city
A progressive dialogue between Autodesk’s Lead Strategist, Public Sector, ASEAN, Mr Chinn Lim, and representatives from Da Nang’s relevant agencies recently took place at the Pegasus International College in Ngu Hanh Son District.

At the event, Mr Lim introduced the participants to the latest software and advanced technologies used in project development and management, including building information modelling (BIM). He remarked that many Vietnamese agencies and organisations are now making preparations to use BIM software in their construction and planning activities.
He continued, “Under the bilateral cooperative programme with Da Nang, my company is willing to help the city develop its creative ideas and innovations as it progresses. In particular, Autodesk, along with Singapore’s Cloud Alliance and Pegasus Consulting and Investment companies, will offer some recommendations for helping the city further its IT sector to become a ‘smart’ city”.
He added that the focus will be on developing more IT training courses at the Pegasus International College. In addition, more specialised seminars will be organised in the city where invited international IT experts can share their experiences on how to enhance the quality of local IT human resources.
The Autodesk is one of the world’s leading software manufacturing technology companies. Its products are now applied in various aspects, including industrial design and production, architectural design and construction, IT and entertainment.
