The 2^nd Son Tra Book Week took place from 6 - 10 July at the eastern end of Da Nang’s Rong (Dragon) Bridge.

The event attracted a total of around 30,000 local residents and visitors who enjoyed buying and exchanging books.  Over 35,000 books from many different categories were sold during the week, with the participating businesses earning over 2 billion VND in total.

Also at the event, 5 local organisations donated 12 book shelves, together worth 150 million VND, to the organisers.  These items were then distributed to local school libraries and book reading rooms in the district’s wards.  The city’s General Science Library also presented a public book shelf to the Son Tra District authorities.
