Local teacher receives Thai Princess awards
English teacher Phan Thi Nu from Da Nang’s Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Students has recently received the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Awards.

Mrs Nu was amongst 11 awards recipients from the 10 ASEAN member countries and East Timor.
The awards aims to honour devoted teachers or educational managers in recognition of their great efforts to promote the development of their local educational sectors, and to boost the international integration of their localities.
The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Award was established in 2015 in commemoration of the 60th birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
In addition, the awards is to honour Her Royal Highness for her educational achievements, and for her great efforts in improving the quality of life of her citizens, especially that of disadvantaged people.
