According to a spokesperson for the municipal Department of Education and Training, the Da Nang team ranked first with 2 first, 2 second, 3 third, and 3 consolation prizes at the recent 24^th National Youth Informatics Contest for school pupils. Notably, Da Nang has topped the national contest for 3 consecutive years from 2016 to 2018.

In other results, Ho Chi Minh City came second, whilst Thua Thien Hue and Ben Tre shared third place.

This year’s contest was organised at the Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Pupils in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on 9 and 10 August. It attracted a total of 257 primary, junior, and senior high school pupils from 51 cities and provinces nationwide.
