173 outstanding pupils and students receive Le Van Hien Awards
A total of 173 pupils and students in Da Nang’s Ngu Hanh Son District who achieved outstanding results in the 2017 - 2018 academic year have been honoured at the Le Van Hien Awards ceremony in the district.

The honouring ceremony was jointly organised by the Ngu Hanh Son District authorities and the district’s Study Encouragement Association.
Amongst the award-winners were a university graduate with excellent results, 9 others with good results, 6 pupils passing their 2018 senior high school graduation exams with good results, 24 pupils passing their 2018 junior high school graduation exams with good results, and 41 excellent primary school pupils.
The organisers also presented gifts to 52 senior high school pupils who were enrolled into this year's public universities, and to 11 another outstanding pupils.
In addition, 40 scholarships, valued at 1 million VND each, have been given to poor and orphaned pupils.
The total cost of all the gifts and scholarships was over 190 million VND, and they have been funded by district-level departments, agencies, and organisations.
