Japanese-funded scholarships granted to 20 local poor studious students

The Japan Business Federation, and the Japan – Viet Nam Economic Cooperation Committee, and the Japan Business Association in Viet Nam, have jointly granted scholarships, worth 300 US$ each, to 20 poor students from the University of Da Nang (UDN) who have got excellent academic results.

The granting of scholarships was one of the meaningful activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Viet Nam (21 September).

Over recent years, the UDN has established bilateral relations with many Japanese universities.

Included are the Yokohama National University, the Kansai University of International Studies, the Nagaoka University of Technology, and the universities of J. F. Oberlin, Kita Kyushu, Kobe, Kyoto, Chuo and Fukuoka.
