Following recent approval by Information and Communications Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, the MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation is bringing its 5G service to Da Nang, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, and Ho Chi Minh City from 23 April 2019 to 22 April 2020 on a trial basis.  

The new service provides free-of-charge data applications with high-speed eMBB for its users to serve the entertainment demands such as online music, online video (HD, UHD 4K), real-time online games (AR, VR), and more.

Currently, MobiFone is closely working with equipment suppliers in order to prepare for the trial deployment.
