Municipal-level Youth Informatics Contest runs until 21 April
The 22nd Da Nang Youth Informatics Contest for pupils from primary to senior high schools is taking place at the Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Students, and the Duy Tan University from 18 - 21 April.
The event is jointly organised by the municipal Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Science and Technology, the Da Nang Telecommunications and Softech companies, the FPT International Practice Centre, and the Duy Tan University.
This year's contest attracts a total of 1,024 school pupils across the city with 189 innovative software products and 74 hardware programming products.
It features the categories of a general knowledge test and innovative software development for primary, junior and senior high school pupils, a hardware programming for junior and senior high school pupils, and a Robotics competition for primary and junior high school pupils.
Prize winners will be selected for the city-level Youth Informatics team. Since then, they will have the opportunity to be trained and attend the 25th National-level Youth Informatics Contest which is slated to be held in June.
