On Tuesday, representatives from the Quality Assurance Council of the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) network conducted the assessment of 3 training programmes offered by the University of Economics UDN, a member school of the University of Da Nang (UDN). They are Auditing, International Business, and Marketing.

Accordingly, faculty and department leaders, research team members, alumni, employers, lecturers, managerial staff members and students from UDN participated in all of the interviews arranged by the AUN-QA delegation.

Previously, this university had received certificates from the AUN-QA network for the majors of Accounting and Business Administration.

A delegation of senior leaders from the Cambridge Assessment English, one of three exam boards which form the Cambridge Assessment Group, a non-teaching department of the University of Cambridge, recently paid a working visit to UDN and its member higher education institutions.

In the face of the growing integration trend, UDN has been paying special attention to offering English language training to students from its member higher education institutions, and providing high quality human resources to meet the requirements of recruiters. UDN, therefore, is now seeking cooperation opportunities with Cambridge Assessment English to enhance the English proficiency of more than 50,000 students from its member schools.

In reply, representatives from Cambridge Assessment English also suggested collaborating with UDN in enhancing its students’ English skills through training and testing programmes, raising linguistic and pedagogical competence of its lecturers, and enhancing the capacity of experts who are in charge of preparing written and oral exam questions and arranging Cambridge exams for UDN students as a compulsory requirement for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
