The Da Nang University of Science and Technology is one of the 7 Vietnamese universities to have met international quality standards, according to the recent announcement by the Department of Quality Management under the Ministry of Education and Training.

The remaining higher education establishments are the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) – Viet Nam National University (VNU), the International University (VNUHCM-IU), the University of Natural Sciences – Ha Noi National University, the Ha Noi University of Science and Technology, the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) and the Ho Chi Minh City-based Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

To date, the University of Da Nang has boasted a total of 20 training programmes which meet international quality standards. 17 of them have received certificates from the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) network and the remaining ones have been recognised by France’s Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI).
