Following recent approval by Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho, a total of 25 teachers in the city have been honoured with the ‘Typical Teachers’ awards for their outstanding dedication to the city’s education sector in recent years, especially in the 2018 - 2019 academic year.

In detail, of the honourees, 3 are from preschools, 7 from primary schools, 4 from junior high schools, 8 from senior high schools, and one each from Tuong Lai (Future) School for the Disabled, the municipal Integrated Education Development Centre and a university.

Also, to celebrate the 37^th anniversary of Viet Nam Teachers' Day, which falls on 20 November each year, given the approval by the Da Nang Department of Education and Training, Ms Tran Thi Kim Binh, the Principal of Ngo Gia Tu Primary School, and Mr Tran Van Quang, the Head of the Literature Faculty at Nguyen Khuyen Junior and Senior High School, will attend the Ministry of Education and Training-organised ceremony honouring Viet Nam’s most typical teachers this year.
