The awards ceremony of the Da Nang Science and Technology Innovation Contest for the 2019 – 2020 academic year, which was organised by the municipal Department of Education and Training, recently took place in the city.

The event saw the participation of 172 pupils and 93 mentors from a total of 48 junior and senior high schools across the city. The contestants competed in the 22 categories.

A total of 10 first prizes were given out to the outstanding entries. In detail, 6 of them went to the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted, whilst the remaining prizes were awarded to the Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School, Nguyen Khuyen Junior and Senior High School, and the junior high schools of Huynh Ba Chanh and Nguyen Binh Khiem.

In addition, 18 second, 21 third, 30 consolation and 6 impressive prizes were also given out to award winners.

In particular, 4 most outstanding entries were selected to present the city to compete at the national-level Science and Technology Innovation Contest, which is scheduled to take place late February 2020 in Da Nang.
