The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the municipal Youth Union organised an awards ceremony for the 2019 municipal-level Scientific Research Contest for Students in the city on 15 December.

In the end, a group of talented students from the Da Nang University of Science and Technology claimed the first prize for their multi-purpose garbage collection machine which is able to collect trash left along beaches and on water surface.

In addition, 2 second, 3 third and 5 consolation prizes were given out to outstanding scientific researches with high applicability.
