University of Da Nang listed amongst Asia's 500 best universities
The University of Da Nang (UDN) has been listed into the top 500 universities in Asia for the third year in a row, according to the London-based education consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings 2020.
UDN is one of the 8 Viet Nam-based higher education establishments to have been listed in the top 500, along with the Viet Nam National University (VNU)-Ho Chi Minh City, the Viet Nam National University – Ha Noi (VNU-Ha Noi), Ho Chi Minh City-based Ton Duc Thang University, the Ha Noi University of Science and Technology, the Can Tho University in the Mekong Delta region, Da Nang-based Duy Tan University and the Hue University.
Launched in 2009, the QS Asia University Rankings ranks the continent's 550 best institutions from 18 locations according to a bespoke eleven-metric methodology using the indicators of academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper, papers per faculty, international research network, international faculty, student to faculty ratio, staff with PhD, international students, outbound exchange students, and inbound exchange students.
The data set includes the world's largest surveys of global academic and employer opinion regarding university quality.
