Cokib wins Vietnam Online Hackathon 2020
The Vietnam Online Hackathon 2020, which took ‘Digital transformation’ as its theme, took place from 15 - 24 May.
Contestants created applications or websites that could respond quickly and adapt continuously to changing requirements of small and medium-sized enterprises in support of digital transformation during Covid-19 outbreak and for the post-pandemic future.
In the end, the Cokib project won the first prize of the contest. Cokib is a technology service that helps connect brands with content creators.
Meanwhile, the second prize went to the Cut Paste project, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven photo-editing app.
The Deep Lung, an AI-powered tool aids early detection of lung disease in X-rays, and the Lam Nong 4.0, a cloud computing-based farm management system, together shared the third prizes.
Apart from receiving cash prizes, the first and second prize winners were selected to join in the Da Nang Entrepreneurship Support’s startup incubation programme. The Deep Lung project joined the incubation programme at the Sun* Startup Studio which is under the management of Japan’s Sun* Group.
