The national-level Schools Science and Innovation Competition 2020 will take place at the Nguyen Khuyen Junior and Senior School in Da Nang from 18 - 20 June.

The Schools Science and Innovation Competition is an annual event in Viet Nam. The competition is open to teams of pupils of secondary school age across the country.

The competition first ran in the 2011-2012 academic year with the aim of motivating school pupils to engage with science, to encourage them to work together as part of a team and to engage them in a fun activity that is motivated by their curiosity and drive.

This year’s competition is expected to attract 262 participants with 140 research works from 69 teams of nationwide schools.

Entrants from Da Nang will present a total of 4 research works at this year’s contest: 3 from team of the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted, and another one from a joint team of the Le Quy Don and Nguyen Khuyen schools.
