Made in Danang - a project to stay connected with startup community

At the end of June, the ST United Co., Ltd., headquartered in Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang, officially launched the Made in Danang (MID) project.

Sharing the reason for the development of the project, Mr Bui Ngoc Vinh, the founder of the ST United Co., Ltd., cum founder of the MID project, said, over recent years, the city has seen an increasing number of creative startup projects. However, most of them have yet to access angel investors or investment funds effectively.

Mr Vinh highlighted the importance of MID project to help local startups connect with angel investors and investment funds effectively, provide them with a productive workspace, and an access to learning opportunities and entrepreneurial community.

Besides, the MID introduces the overview information of startup activities, and technology and startup events, in Da Nang.

“MID is a comprehensive startup ecosystem map with the most registered startups, co-working spaces, and related activities based in Da Nang” Mr Vinh said.

Since its launch, this project has stayed connected with 20 locally-made startup projects, including Dat Bike, Multi-Glass and Ant Buddy.

Ms Dang Thi Hang, the founder of the Sala tempered glass project, highly appreciated the great effectiveness of the MID project in connecting startups with global partners, investors and investment funds.

Mr Vinh noted, apart from investment funds in Viet Nam, MID project is connecting with investment funds worldwide such as Japan and Singapore to provide active support for local startups.

In the future, MID will be developed in such foreign languages ​​such as Japanese and South Korean in a bid to expand its connection network.
