Smart cameras to be installed at senior high schools in Da Nang
The Da Nang government will provide 3.554 billion VND of funding to install smart cameras in senior high schools across the city.
The installation of the cameras aims to improve teaching quality and manage school pupils effectively. The installation work will be implemented during the 2020-2022 period.
The smart camera system is equipped with facial recognition software and can identify the warning signs of school violence. Also, it is connected to the city’s local area network (LAN). Images of school violence, and violation times and venues, will be captured and then will be sent to relevant local agencies for handling.
In the immediate future, smart cameras will be installed on a trial basis in the Tran Phu and Nguyen Hien senior high schools, both in Hai Chau District.
