About 11,000 candidates sitting for high school graduation exams in Da Nang taken swab samples for Covid-19 testing
Swab samples were taken today, 31 August for Covid-19 testing from around 11,000 candidates across Da Nang sitting for the upcoming second phase of Viet Nam's national senior high school graduation exams which is scheduled to take place between 2 and 4 September.

In details, only 70 special examinees comprising of F1 and F2 contacts and those placed under quarantine, all of whom will take their exams at the Ngu Hanh Son District-located Vo Chi Cong Senior High School, were taken coronavirus tests at their isolation sites. The remainder had their swab samples taken for testing at 24 designated examination venues citywide.
Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Education and Training Tran Nguyen Minh Thanh affirmed the strict application of Covid-19 testing programme for the candidates as per the Heath Ministry’s guidelines.

Tomorrow, on 1 September, all exam supervisors and related persons involved in the upcoming seminal event will be taken swap samples for Covid-19 testing.
For the time being, officers and men from the city-based High Command of Military Zone 5 are spraying all examination venues with disinfectant, whilst surveillance cameras have been installed here.

Exam supervisors will be required to wear coronavirus protective suits and face coverings while staffing examination venues.

If a candidate is found being infected with the coronavirus, he/she will be exempted from attending the exam and will exceptionally graduate |
As per the instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training, if a candidate is found being infected with the coronavirus, he/she will be exempted from attending the exam and will exceptionally graduate. Meanwhile, their exam-roommates must take their exams in the already-earmarked isolation facilities under the supervision of medical staff.
