Facilitating contacts of virus carriers in the city to sit for high school graduation exams
Statistics released by the Da Nang Department of Education and Training show that 10,955 candidates across the city will sit for the upcoming second phase of Viet Nam's national senior high school graduation exams which is scheduled to take place between 2 and 4 September at 25 designated examination venues citywide.
Amongst them, 70 special candidates will take their exams at the Ngu Hanh Son District-located Vo Chi Cong Senior High School. They consist of one F1 contact, three F2 contacts, and sixty-six who are placed under quarantine.
Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Education and Training Tran Nguyen Minh Thanh said that 70 special candidates will be provided separate rooms of this venue for their exams: one for F1 contact and two others for three F2 contacts. Meanwhile, the remainder will take their exams at separate rooms, and the number of candidates will be limited to no more than 12 in each room.
Exam supervisors will be required to wear coronavirus protective suits and face coverings while staffing examination venues.
All candidates attending the exams will be required to wear face coverings, have their body temperatures checked and use hand sanitizers.
All examinees, examiners and related persons involved in the upcoming event at the Vo Chi Cong School will have their swab samples taken for coronavirus testing in the coming days.
Officers and men from the city-based Military Region 5 will spraying all examination venues with disinfectant before and after exams.
The Da Nang Department of Transport will arrange special vehicles to carry these special candidates to the Da Nang Centre for Disease Control for Covid-19 testing, and the Vo Chi Cong School during their 3-day exams.
