The Green Innovation and Development Centre (GreenID) under the Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations will give financial aid to 45 families in Da Nang to help them install solar panels on their rooftops on a trial basis.

The beneficiaries are 5 families in Hai Chau District, 6 in Thanh Khe District, 7 in Lien Chieu District, 6 in Son Tra District, 5 in Cam Le District, 6 in Ngu Hanh Son District and 10 in Hoa Vang District.

Each family is required to have a roof area of 22m² and over, and to register for installing rooftop solar panels which are expected to generate a total of at least 3kWp.

Each family will receive 2 million VND/ kWp in financial aid and a maximum of 6 million VND for 3 kWp from GreenID.
