Da Nang professor honoured with the title of Honorary Professor
Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan, the Head of The Da Nang International Institute of Technology (DNIIT) under the University of Da Nang (UDN) on Thursday was awarded the title of Honorary Professor by the UDN for his commitment and devotion to the progress of this tertiary establishment and cementing the Viet Nam - France cooperation in the aspects of education- training and science - technology as a whole.

The title conferment was part of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20 November) 38th anniversary celebrations. Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum municipal People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Trung Chinh was present at the event.
Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan now also gets involved in teaching and scientific research activities at the University Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS), a member of the France-based Université Côte d'Azur (UCA).
The dedicated professor has made the great contribution to leveraging bilateral ties between the Da Nang university and UNS since 1996 till date.
Over the past years, these two universities have jointly held such remarkable events as international RUNSUD Conference, the Smart Campus Campaign and Super-Computing Camp.
In particular, Prof. Dr. Nhan presided over the establishment a network with LoRa (short for long range) technology in association with such services as analysis, design, simulation and management for the sake of ‘smarter’ teaching-learning methods.
