Da Nang university honoured with Labour Hero title
The Da Nang University of Science and Technology (DUT) has recently celebrated its 45th birthday and has been awarded with the title of Labour Hero. The prestigious title is awarded by State President Nguyen Phu Trong.

In his speech delivered at event, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Quang Vinh, the Rector of the Da Nang University of Science and Technology, said, over the past 45 years, his university has recorded remarkable achievements in training, thus making a considerable contribution to growth in Da Nang.
The university has focused on improving the quality of teaching and learning, as well as upgrading facilities to provide the best services for teaching and learning activities.
DUT consists of 14 departments, 10 function rooms, and a Research and Training Institute. Also, the quality and qualifications of UDN’s staff have been constantly enhancing with most of lecturers being professors, associate professors, and doctoral and master’s degree holders.
The DUT boasts a combined total of 14 training programmes which meet international quality standards. Many of them have received certificates from the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) network and the remaining ones have been recognised by France’s Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI).
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Quang Vinh remarked his university has prioritised renewing its training programmes in order to keep up with the latest development of science and technology, and advanced levels of foreign countries around the world.
