The Da Nang People’s Committee, on Wednesday morning, held an awards ceremony of the 15^th Da Nang Technical Innovation Contest, the Viet Nam Science and Technology Innovation Award 2019, and the 15^th Viet Nam Innovation Contest for Youth and Children.

A combined total of 4 first, 4 second, 10 third and 9 consolation prizes have been awarded to outstanding entrants in the 15^th Da Nang Technology Innovation Contest, 

Meanwhile, teams from Da Nang have claimed one first, one second and 2 third prizes in the Viet Nam Science and Technology Innovation Award 2019.

Da Nang’s pupils have taken 2 third and 2 consolation prizes in the 15^th Viet Nam Innovation Contest for Youth and Children.

In his remarks at the awards ceremony, Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet expressed his congratulations to the contests’ winners on their outstanding prizes.

He also suggested that such useful contests should be organised in the city in the coming time in a bid to promote the spirit of scientific and technological research amongst people from walks of life across the city.
