Forty-eight school pupils in Da Nang who achieved good study results in the 2019-2020 academic year have been honoured with the 22^nd  Huynh Thuc Khang Talent Encouragement Awards.

The honouring ceremony was co-hosted by the Da Nang Study Encouragement Association and the municipal Department of Education and Training.

Each of the honourees has received a Da Nang Imexpharm Pharmaceutical JSC-funded cash reward of between 2 and 6 million VND.

In his remarks at the event, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee Tran Viet Dung praised the honourees for their good study results over the past school year. He also encouraged them to continue their efforts to obtain better results in the next academic year.

Also on the same day, the Imexpharm Pharmaceutical JSC signed an agreement with the Da Nang Study Encouragement Association to provide 200 million VND in funding per year for the awards over the 2021-2025 period.

The annual Huynh Thuc Khang Talent Encouragement Awards aims to honour 9^th and 12^th graders for their good academic results, and encourage them to continue their efforts to follow the example of late Huynh Thuc Khang, a Vietnamese strong-willed patriotic scholar.
